Samuel odleDirectorSamuel L. Odle is a Director of Alder Bowman and Senior Policy Advisor for Bose Public Affairs Group. Previously, Odle served as the system Chief Operating Officer of IU Health and the CEO of Methodist Hospital and University Hospital.
Odle has been recognized on several occasions for both his professional and community service. Odle received the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee “Charles L. Whistler Award” for his visionary and enthusiastic leadership in serving the community in addition to his success in bringing together the public and private sectors for civic improvement in Indianapolis. Odle was inducted into the Indiana Business Hall of Fame. Odle was named Moderator for the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series Class XXXVIII with the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce. Board-certified in health care management, Odle is a fellow and past chairman of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He worked with the Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellowship program to develop future health care leaders. Serves on the boards of WastePoint, VeriVitae, RepuCare, Thesus Health, and has served on the board for the Crossroads of America Council of the Boy Scouts of America since 2001, including a term as president when he launched a $16 million major gifts campaign to help fund Scouting programs. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Jordan Foundation. Odle served as chairman of the United Way fundraising campaign, which raised nearly $39 million. He was an elected member of the Indianapolis Public Schools – School Board. |
