Paula Autry is a highly accomplished health system executive who advises boards, CEOs, and senior executives on operational, strategic, and leadership priorities. She advises commercial and nonprofit organizations to enhance operational efficiency, drive growth, and align with community needs. She additionally conducts evaluations of health and housing services in underserved communities to address critical needs and foster sustainable improvements.
Prior to joining Alder Bowman, Autry served in dual leadership roles within Henry Ford Health as Senior Vice President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Central Market and President/CEO of Henry Ford Allegiance Health. She drove the development of a strong and competitive regional presence ensuring accessible and comprehensive care within the region.
Before joining Henry Ford Health, Autry served as Chief Executive Officer of Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, and senior corporate and executive leadership at DMC/Sinai-Grace Hospital, Morehouse School of Medicine, Mount Carmel East Hospital, Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital, Erlanger Health System, and the University of South Alabama Medical Center.
In the spirit of “Learn, Do, Teach.” Autry’s experience includes service as a Professor in Healthcare Management at Franklin University and senior strategy leadership roles at Morehouse School of Medicine. In addition, she serves as an Advisory Board Member for Humanity Talent Network, supporting expanded access and advancement for diverse executive leaders in healthcare and life sciences.
Paula is a former Governor of the American College of Healthcare Executives, was recognized as a "top 25 Minority Executives by Modern Healthcare
Ms. Autry received a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med from the University of Notre Dame, along with an MBA and MHA from Tulane University.
